She was my science teacher…. I have chills and tears right now. One of the nicest teachers I’ve ever had. Still think about her every year around Christmas time 😔

After the negative drug test, he should have had a psychological evaluation!! Because it was clear that SOMETHING WAS GOING ON!!

This is especially terrifying for me. My nephew broke into my house at 2am last Easter. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia/bi polar, and he also uses heroine . He has attacked his mother so badly that she was hospitalized for a few days. I have to barricade my doors at night because I'm terrified he's going to come back. He's in and out of jails and mental hospitals, and I never know when he's out.

My brother has schizophrenia. Has had horrid hallucinations off his meds but has never ever become violent towards others. It’s an unpredictable illness that manifests differently person to person.

I've had two friends who are diagnosed schizophrenics. The difference between them when they are on their meds and off their meds is like night and day!

Schizophrenia is a terrible disease. I have a relative who committed a terrible crime when he was a young man as his symptoms developed. His family thought he was using drugs but it was the prodromal stage of schizophrenia. It was awful. My heart goes out to this family.

I often doubt whether people are actually crazy. This guy is 100% insane.

I like that your videos are short and to the point. I don’t always have the time or attention span to sit through an hour video 😂

I’m 58 and have a 52 y/o sister who was diagnosed as being Bipolar and having Schizophrenia when she was 19. I’m no psychiatrist and it was a long time ago so I may have terms mixed up but at the time she was acting very strange and said that Axel Rose was talking to her. Putting her hand on a hot BBQ for no reason, and the like. She ran away at 18 and was picked up by a cop who arranged to have her sent back home. She ran away again and was found in Iowa - her home being Chicago. Finally, a smart cop sensed something wasn’t right. He got a psych eval for her and we found out what was really going on. FF, 36 yrs later and she’s still in a nursing home dealing with the disease. She’s gained about 100 lbs because of the meds and her hand shakes when eating. (Speak of the “devil”, she just called while writing this! doing fine!) She and others like her live in a nursing home with minimum security, take meds to stop the voices, though they don’t always work, and try to live as nice of a life as they can. Sometimes the disease lightens up as people get older. And with medication and psychiatric support, some lead fairly normal lives. But that is a best case scenario and most afflicted with schizophrenia and their families will have to deal with the disease in some form for the rest of their lives. I will always love my sister but I don’t wish this on anyone.

I'm really surprised the rehab after finding him clean didn't consider mental illness.

This is one of the few criminal investigation videos I've watched (and I've seen many) where can I say without a shadow of a doubt that I'm confident this person is clinically insane.

Such a sad story. Mental illness can be mistaken as a drug addiction.
I have schizoaffective disorder and developed at 19. I'm 37 now and can relate to the stigma that is attached to schizophrenic disorders.

Professionals at a drug rehab should have recognized this schizophrenia. Unbelievable

I admire Brandon's sister for understanding what happened to her Brother and the statement she gave, even though she also lost her Mother and on Christmas Eve of all days. You can see how the treatment has changed Brandon's appearance dramatically. A sad, tragic story.
