I think it’s great as long as you don’t wanna compete or have any competitive play in the slightest. And love fighting one man defenses.

What do I like about RAID? The graphics (including the animations) Turn-based approach to fighting Almost infinite ability to customize your characters Ability to choose what areas of the game I play (instead of being forced along a line of progression the game chooses for me) What do I HATE about RAID? Critical resources are behind a pay-wall PvP is difficult to avoid, since it part of your account progression at some point--and that's bad because it's pay-to-win (I don't care if I don't have to play it, but since I DO have to play it, having my nose rubbed in pay-to-win teams EVERY DAY irritates the fuck out of me.) Promoted events and tournaments are designed for the players who invest thousands of dollar--per month--in the game, not for low-to-no spenders. Would I recommend this game? Absolutely not. Not even to my worst enemy. Why do I continue to play? A real good fucking question. Let me put it this way: I proved to myself that fusions and so on are not for me by doing a few of them (giving them a fair chance, in my mind). I'm playing the game my way--taking my time to develop a select number of Champions I already have, to see if I can play content that so far has eluded me (i.e., Hydra). Again, in my mind, this is mostly to give the game a chance, because on the whole, I'm thinking that I'm wasting my time. If I start doing the things that people label as "end-game," and I think it's butt-twaddle (which I suspect it is, but right now can't be sure), then I'll walk away from RAID and never look back. To me, there IS a deadline, though: the launch of Godforge. If, out of the box (so to speak), I like Godforrge more than I've ever liked RAID, that day will be my last in Teleria.

Even people that dont play raid know how shockingly ass and predatory plarium are with monetisation and their lack-luster updates/patches. The game loop is decent but a lot of it is complete trash. To me it seems the game potential outscales plariums ability to develop it.

It's a good thing raid allows you to figure things out on your own. I'm getting tired of games holding your hand. Try some stuff, figure it out. If it's sub-optimal, who cares? Progress is progress. If your champs are getting leveled, ranked up, booked, masteries, etc. You're building up strength. Your decisions don't have to be perfect. You don't lose anything except time. It might take a bit linger before you can hit UNM clanboss. It's a strategy game. How fast you get there is up to you. Enjoy the journey...

Unfortunately what exactly ZERO content creators will ever talk about is that is unplayable as a mobile game. Every cc and every single player who has reached the "end game" has done so via auto grinding. If you've ever tried leaving Raid on auto on your phone, chances are u wake up the next day to an error message after just a handful of dungeon runs. This absolutely is not a mobile game and absolutely has to played on a PC in order to progress to end game regardless on how much money you spent. The mobile aspect is just the hook to get new players sucked into it. If you don't have a device that you can lock-up with a raid app for 10+ hours a day all your gear will be garbage and you'll never have silver. They've set it up so even whales can't buy enough silver to gear up champions. You have to put in hours upon hours ever day. It's unsustainable.
