The duality of WoodDaddy choosing who should die, and WoodMommy sacrificing herself to save lives is amazing

I love how there's enough lore from previous Ish civilization videos that certain players are able to be predicted/used for certain purposes in completely new vids (ex: TooDrew being violent in the desert, turning WoodDaddy against the people who love him)

28:23 Ish switches from âSimon Saysâ to âIsh Saysâ without Simon saying to respond to Ish, but all the contestants went along with it and no one seemed to catch it, not even Ish.
Technically everyone should have been eliminated there, so I wonder if Ish just ignored it to keep the game going, or if there was an edit in there that cut something out of the video.

I'm a 23 yr old who hasn't played Minecraft in 5 years. But these videos are SOOO CINEMATIC. SOOO entertaining. Just the prospect of 1,000 unique human beings meeting up in one place and getting narrowed down to just ONE (or two lol).
It's also really funny seeing a THOUSAND souls following this guys verbal commands, and what that looks like in Minecraft. Hilarious.
I was quite invested in this one

Hello! I've been watching your content for a while now, and my brother thought up a new possible idea for your 1000-player series. It sounded fantastic to me! He calls it... "THE MYTHOLOGY EXPERIMENT"
It simply works like this. 1000 players would be placed in a Minecraft world, designed like the country Greece, with all kinds of biomes attached to it. (it doesn't have to be Greece, it can be anywhere really.) But 12 of those players would be chosen to become GODS! Now, you're probably wondering "What does a god even do?" Well, unlike actual Gods, they can't do everything. Making them overpowered would be hard to command, I'd imagine, So we have to balance them out instead. So each god has different elements they control, randomly assigned to them. Like Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Lighting, Ice, Love, Life, Death, War, Space, and Time! They also can die! It's very hard for a god to die, with them having a TON of health, but you can kill a God! This is very important for later!
Anyway, before the game fully begins, these Gods would play a little mini-game to see who will be the king, and live on Mount Olympus! The Tallest mountain on the server! Being given random amounts of scaffolding, to see who has the Tallest. After someone claims Olympus, everyone else can play for all the other twelve locations on the map for their temples. After it's all settled the real game begins.
The Mortal's (AKA the remaining players) goal of the game is to appease the Gods! Give them sacrifices, before their rituals, and do what they ask, to make sure they don't wreak havoc. Doing sacrifices for gods does have a positive effect though. Giving you a special reward, or blessing chosen by the god in question. It also gives the gods more power! Like giving them more durability to their abilities! And from there the Mortals can do whatever they want.
The god's goal, however, is to be the most worshiped god in the next 5 days! This encourages the gods to interact with the mortals, and actually play the game. Gods would have 4 abilities each, with 3 being unique to the element given to them. The first power would allow them to go into spectator mode, for five minutes. Allowing them to spy on their people. They also can speak in this form, so they can guide their people. This ability would have a cooldown of 10 minutes, and when the 5 minutes is up, place the god back where they activated the ability. Every other ability is a little different. These next abilities can be summarized into 3 different groups. Blessings, Punishments, and Cataclysms! The Blessings would simply give players a buff, or heal them. Punishments would torture the player, by giving them a debuff. And Cataclysms would be disasters, that would kill mortals! They would all need different amounts of sacrifices to work so that they again are not overpowered. Each god would have an immunity to their power, like a potion effect! Here are some suggestions of what the abilities could be!
*Fire*: Fire Resistance.
Warmth: Gives mortal, Permanent fire resistance.
Burn: constant fire damage, that also makes any wood materials that enter their inventory disappear.
Volcano: This would form a volcano out of the ground, where it was activated, and once fully formed will throw retextured TNT and have lava spread in a 50-block radius, around it. Burning all wood!
*Water*: Water breathing
bubble: would give mortal permanent water-breathing
thirst: all bottles of water and buckets of water, will be replaced with their emptied forms. This also includes potions.
Tsunami: It would basically allow a huge wave to sweep over a 100-block radius, and if there's any chest in the area, they will all be emptied of their items, flooding them away.
*Earth*: Haste
Stone: would give mortal permanent Haste
Burrow: Mining Fatigue.
Earthquake: it will create huge ravens in between the landmass, destroying structures in its way. Mortals would feel a 10-second shake before it happens, and any Mortals underground would be saved.
*Air*: Slow Falling
Feather: Mortal would be gifted permanent slow fall.
Breeze: the mortal would be given levitation and would fly all the way to the building height. There they will stay until the punishment is lifted. (Witch is something gods can do)
Tornados: when summoned, the Tornados will pick up players toss them around, and take the items from mortal's inventories.
*Lighting*: Speed boost
Electric: mortals will be blessed with a permanent speed boost.
Lighting: Mortal will be struck with lightning, paralyzing them. Every so often the mortal can move for a short 20 seconds, but will then be paralyzed again for 20 seconds.
Thunderstorm: will summon a huge Thunderstorm that will strike constantly for a short while, killing players and burning down buildings made of wood. Can be counted with copper rods.
*Ice*: Immunity to frostbite, and frost walker.
Cold: Mortal will be given frostbite Immunity. (Not frost walker though, can't give them 2 blessings In one.)
Freeze: They will be frozen in ice, stopping them from doing anything. It is unbreakable but will melt over time. (And quicker in other environments)
Blizzard: heavy amounts of snow burying small structures. It also causes blindness and frostbite to anyone in the storm.
*Life*: Saturation. Plants grow faster around them, and flowers spawn at their feet.
Plentiful: Gives mortals full saturation.
Poison: will be giving constant nausea that can't be healed by milk.
Famine: The hunger effect is given to mortals. (It would also stunt crop growth)
*Love*: Regeneration. Can breed any mob with a right click.
Health: Mortals receive permanent Regeneration.
Attractive: Mobs are attracted to the mortal. Even hostile mobs.
Heartbroken: Mobs become unbreedable. And it chips half a heart away every few minutes.
*Death*: Slowness and wither immunity.
Totem: Gives mortal a second chance at life. Like a Totem.
Withering: Gives uncureble wither effect, and Slowness.
Apocalypse: An army of the dead will crawl out of the ground and attack everyone! This includes Zombies, skeletons, and Vexs. They would be immune to the sun.
*War*: Strength
Intimidate: Gives mortal permanent strength.
Rage: has Mortal kill the nearest player to them, by highjacking their controls.
Wrath: If you don't let war happen then a wave of rage will infect everyone, blinding them to kill left and right!
*Space*: Infinite enderpearls.
Transport: Gives mortal an infinite amount of ender pearls, that can't be shared either other mortals.
Warp: randomly teleports the mortal around the map, and rearranges their controls.
Meteor: A giant Meteor would fall from the sky and destroy a 50-block radius where it lands.
*Time*: Night vision.
Speed up: allows mortal to speed up the process of smelting, and growth. But not both. They have to choose.
Slow down: Gives the player Slowness, and makes all actions slower.
Stop: this would have the mortals freeze in time. It will have a 70-block radius and stop all entries from updating. This would allow other armies to destroy them easily.
Now some of these might sound overpowered, but don't worry! There is a balance to that as well. You see to use these abilities you would need Mortals to make sacrifices to earn points. Food offerings would give 5 points, an animal would give 10, and mortal sacrifices would give 15 points. Mortals would give these points to you by using a sacrificial blade associated with the god they wish to sacrifice to. Blessings would cost 15 points to use, Punishments would cost 30 points to use and unused, and Cataclysms would cost 90 points. And this last thing is very important... you know how I said you can kill a God?... what if I told you that mortals can also sacrifice gods!? If you use the sacrificial blade when killing the god, you will give you're god their powers! It's something I don't see actually happening, but who knows. It could allow chaos to unfold!
And there you have it! That is our suggestion for the MYTHOLOGY EXPERIMENT! What do you think? Got any problems with it? Let me know. And if you like the idea and want to use it for a video, go right ahead! Thank you for listening.
