Happy Tree Friends is the epitome of "cartoons aren't for kids." Just because something is bright and colorful DOES NOT mean that it is suitable to play for your kid.

9:33 the creators said that flippy went to through so many different wars, because they said to get flippy's level of PTSD (to the point that you have an evil side that kills people and only wakes up when you get it) you need so many different wars which i guess it explains why his PTSD is so weird and why he gets triggered by almost anything, he must've gone through it all.

Flaky was the last to die in one episode and watched flippy kill everyone. So there's a theory that she's the only one to retain memory of him being a serial killer. Whoch is why she's always nervous around him. She might also be the only person who knows they keep dying all the time, which is why she had anxiety

I think every episode is a different universe and that’s why some characters have different roles, jobs and ages in other episodes. It’s like the multiverse in Gravity Falls where the universe we’ve been watching was the only universe that survived and all the other ones, Dipper and Mabel died

I personally like the theory that the world of Happy Tree Friends is something akin to purgatory. The characters don’t stay dead because they’re being punished in some way. I also believe that maybe some characters have mental illnesses and they were rounded up in one town to keep them away from everyone else. Like, Lammy is clearly schizophrenic. Flippy has intense PTSD. I could go on.
