A note about the animations. When something is moving the center of gravity remains roughly in the same spot. Like for humans our center of gravity is around our waist/pelvic area and when we walk out legs and arms account for this. Like when your right arm is forward your left leg is behind you and vice versa. The same thing is seen in quadruped animals like dogs or cats. The torso also plays a part in making a walk/run animation make sense. A trick I've learned is the body should rotate slighly with the arms. Idk if that makes any sense or that helps at all. I apologize if I sounded condensing, I'm repeating what I've heard and learned as a self taught animator. Final thing reference helps tremendously when animating complex movements
