Ur wrong. Ultimate Alliance and X-Men Legends 1 & 2 are god tier.

This ignores the fact that every game misses Square Enix projections! Square has the worst revenue projections and expectations in the entire industry. This is critical context.

It's really sad, somewhere inside this is a really enjoyable game. The actual gameplay of the characters is really fun and the characterisation in what little cut scenes and story we got was perfect. But the enemies all being the same bullet sponges, no interesting boss fights and repetitive missions just killed it.

"The now infamous A-day trailer was released.. It looked Amazing"? Really, I took one look and lost all interest in the game, it looked generic and bland from the get go, I wasn't even considering buying it from that point and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I think the multiplayer coop choice was not a good thing, story wise. Wish it was a singleplayer focused on the story.

Despite all it's flaws... the combat was spectacular. Each character once upgraded was super fun to play with. I loved it.

I bought that dumpster fire for full price & even playe the beta. During the beta it got old quick, but we all held out hope because it wasn’t the complete game. Story was pretty okay. Anything after? Not worth it.

They should have made games for each individual hero, one at a time, using the same engine (cheaper that way), then made a team up game if they sold well.
