I knew you would make it but when Alan said you did South Col to summit in five hours I was amazed. Especially with the long lines of climbers we've been watching. Congratulations dude! You know that many will try to diminish the accomplishment of climbing Everest in 2024, but you challenged yourself and you climbed the tallest mountain on Earth. Nobody can ever take that from you.

Best Everest video log ever made, no songs, real first person experience, thank’s Ryan, always wanted to see that

That walk looked tough at times, but if you ever wonder if it was worth it, and worth filming, then rest assured, it was! It gave such a strong sense of the reality of the landscape, and the conditions, more so than I've ever seen before. For someone like me, who will never go there now (I was already six years old when Hillary and Norgay first got to the top), it's the closest I'll get to the experience. So thank you, and brilliantly done!

Ok. So me and my family having been praying for you after hearing all the stories coming out from Everest. Not seeing your videos for the past several days was worrying. Thank God you are ok! Hate for any loss…. So thoughts for the others and their families. Stay safe! We are all pulling for you! ❤

I really respect you for hiking from Everest Base Camp back down to Namche. You achieved it because you have a strong mindset plus all of the training you have undertaken. Although it was hard you could enjoy all the beauty along the way. In the past there wouldn't even have been the option of going by helicopter. As you later summited Everest and got back down safely there was enough fuel in the tank.

Great to hear from you!! Got a little nervous following the reports from Everest. Looked EXTREMELY crowded & was saddened by news of several lost climbers over the last couple weeks. Good to know your still around & look forward to seeing more of your amazing experience!!

My dad did base camp aged 73 years old. He died last year aged 78 . Everest base camp was done in memory of his partner who died the year before and he raised money for a children’s charity in 🏴

Dude I’m so happy that you did this!! Screw everyone who took the helicopter down! This was so enjoyable for the millions of us out here who will never get to do this trek, and who are overloaded with the never-ending footage of base camp ↗️ summit!
Go against the grain, push yourself mentality, do what the others aren’t willing to do, keep building your endurance!! 💪👍
I loved hearing the rambling thoughts, seeing the dogs, hearing you doubt yourself, seeing the changing scenery on the decent, and achieving the goal ☺️👌
Thanks from Canada 🇨🇦

Hmmm, ten minute helicopter ride or walk a marathon? Okay, marathon it is then. Love it.

🤩 it’s been days man! I was getting worried. 😝 Good to see your still trekkin. Don’t listen to the haters. Take as much in as you possibly can. Once in a lifetime opportunity for most who even make it up there. As always? Thanks for sharing your experience. 👍🏼✌️ be safe and enjoy.

I have made 3 treks to EBC all in my 60s. Will be trekking 3 passes in October at 65yo. Very familiar territory. Really enjoy Watching your journey and wishing you the best on a spectacular climb. 🙏

This whole series is one of the best things I've ever seen on youtube. Mad respect for you bro. P.S you don't need to do K2 or anything else. Don't risk it. You nailed this. Onto the next thing.

Can’t wait to see the rest of your journey!
I was following your summit attempt via updates from posts by Alan Arnette and by Madison Mountaineering. The other teachers in my hallway kept asking me, “how’s the YouTuber doing? Has he made to the top and back?”
We teach high schoolers - many of which are within a year or two of your age. We’ve been SO IMPRESSED with your journey and rooting you on!!! 🎉 🏔️ ❤
