The system is beyond fucked.

Clearly the problem is that US attorneys have too much authority to make these immunity deals.

What's the point of having laws against these crimes if certain people can receive immunity from serving time?

It should NOT be possible to grant immunity to anyone other than the defendant.

How does a single corrupt prosecutor have the authority to make and entire criminal syndicate immune from prosecution. That's absurd.

Whoever agreed to this ridiculous deal in our government should be brought up on charges themselves.

Many more crimes were committed AFTER the deal was made. How can the deal stand?

If her immunity can be taken away then so should everyone else involved in this case.

Blanket immunity for entire criminal organization should not be a legal option. Procution immunity is a tool to flip valuable individuals. To enable tearing down entrenched organized crime. Not as a tool to cover up evil done to children. At this point does any path to justice exist other than vengeance outside the law??

The real issue is why all these people were granted immunity back in 2007 and why is this even legal. A lot of very powerful people wanted this buried. Democrats, Republicans and even foreign nobility.

I hate to side with the historically wrong and abysmal 9th circuit, but here we are. If the U.S. Prosecutor has the authority to represent and enter into plea deals on behalf of that very entity the entire entity of the justice system is bound by that agreement made by that representative with said authority. Full stop.

How are normal people supposed to look at something like this and still think to themselves that the justice system represents them? The rich and powerful can do whatever they want and they'll never be held accountable. People are still locked up for weed dude. This system is fucked.

Put the prosecutor who made that stupd deal in jail for life.

Blanket immunity and blanket pardons should be removed from the system immediately.
