I do intermittent fasting sometimes for 20 hours. I stop eating at 3:00 pm, and start my breakfast at 10:00 am. I eat avocado toast with sourdough bread or Ezequiel bread, mash avocado, mash garlic, and good olive oil and broccoli sprouts. I am going to try with cayenne pepper. For breakfast this morning I had a cup of steamed brussel sprouts, 2 poached eggs, a drizzle of EVOO, chia seeds and teaspoon of grass fed butter.
For my supper at work romaine and red leaf lettuce. cup of canned salmon, chia seeds, dressing is EVOO with smashed garlic marinaded in the oil and raspberries and strawberries.
I'll eat about 5:30pm at work and when I get home from work I may sip on a cup of my homemade chicen stock. I won't eat iunch the next day until noon.

Dr William li, my boyfriend has lung cancer from 9/11 due to being a front line worker as a police Sargent with the new york city police department. They have operated on him and removed most of his lungs. He gets his check ups every 3 months at the hospital. Hes taking the radiation pills as there still is cancer in his body. The pulls r whats keeping him alive. Is there any hope for him in getting rid of the cancer altogether. U have to save these fallen soldiers for doing their jobs. Please help them. ❤

I fast at least 12 hrs, longer some days. Start every morning with black coffee and a clean protein powder, perfect aminos. I drink green and herbal teas until lunch. Most days eat at noon, I eat a can of sardines, 3 hard boiled eggs, homemade kale chips, and maybe half serving of pistachios. Lunch can get boring😂 Dinner is a protein and whatever is fresh from the garden., lots of fiber. We do eat avocados 3 times a week. I proritize protein and fiber since im a 46 yo woman.

I get up at 6am and eat breakfast at 10am and I fast for 15 hours. I was not losing weight and I realized while you were using the gas up your car analogy, I am eating too much. Defeating the purpose of eating good things but even those good things I can eat too much. I also drink ice water using my ap reminding me to drink water while I fast. Finally I am feeling good, better mood, happier, less inflamation . I really appreciate all you do here to help us with our diet.

Because of cancer and the good advice of Dr. Li, I have now switched from first coffee to first matcha tea in the morning. Also easy to combine with my curcuma and cinnamon 🍀

What if you wake up in the morning at 8am (which usually I like to do), meditate for 10 or so minutes, go to the bathroom and wash up/brush my teeth, and have a bowl of matcha tea while sitting outside THEN make breakfast?

Each morning I drink black tea with oat milk until i can actually feel hunger turning up. This simple routine has helped me tremendously already. It turned out, my body wants 15 hrs fasting. Only then it wakes up. It needs a long time! But that's just me. Everybody is different. And also I am not working currently, so it is easier to do.

How is saturated fat not heart-healthy? I am unaware of any studies that reflect heart and or artery damage from saturated fat consumption. Everything I have heard and read about saturated fat is that it is very beneficial.

Dr Rhonda Patrick has a fairly recent video out saying don't drink coffee unless it's filtered. She saying cancer 5:38 risks increase. She uses French press as an example of brewing you should not use.
