"Lucky for me he's an ass man" 😭😭💀

I knew about Senator Duckworth because of the way she grilled the proposed ambassador to Singapore. She is such a badass.

As a 3 tour Marine vet I'm very glad that I've been out of the military for 45 years and we never were underneath a cowardly draft dodger who called us "suckers and losers".

So proud to have her as my Senator. She works so hard and contributes so much to the Senate. She deserves much more exposure than she already receives.

As a GWOT veteran from Illinois, I'm so happy she represents me and that I get to vote for her every 6 years. A true hero and patriot.

I love Tammy. She is my Senator. I first met her when she was running for Illinois Legislature. I was impressed and smitten. I still write to her regularly about legislation that benefits the people.

One of the few politicians with a spine in Congress

In my youth I was in a relationship with an absolutely amazing human being , he he did his tours Egypt , Afghanistan and Iraq . He came back nothing but a cracked shell of a man . When I couldn’t anymore bc services from the va were denied . His mum called me a year later asking me to write a letter about my experience and what he shared with me , it was only then that they gave him the services they denied him . For the words I had written of wanting this man who I love to be able to have a healthy life and be able to heal from all he went through bc he gave his life for a country who turned their back on him and the family and people who love him . We are but nothing but one of thousands of military service people who suffer greatly and are angry for what is NOT BEING DONE to help our military and retired millions personnel!!!!

29:24 my grandfather was drafted to Vietnam. He dealt with lifelong illness not long after returning. He only got treatment because he worked a different public job on returning before his body couldnt take it any more. He didnt make it past 65, and those last 5 years were touch and go. Its incredibly shitty that veterans dont automatically recieve healthcare with the assumption that their physically and mentally stressful job is at least partially responsible for their conditions
