If I was told this kid was 35, without knowing different, I wouldn't question it.

It’s unbelievably difficult to think he is only 15.

This kid might just be the scariest person I've ever seen. His behavior is terrifying and his mannerisms and speaking voice...just wow!

I had a nephew who was out of control as a little kid, and when he was a teen he spoke just like this: weirdly deep, monotone, "yes sir." I was convinced he was going to turn into a serial killer, he just wasn't right. He turned into a great young adult, totally accomplished, friendly, helps his mom with everything, and very popular in his town. He grew into his voice somehow.

I did NOT plan on watching this for 49 minutes, but I couldn’t turn it off. This is the most bizarre and unsettlingly candid conversation I’ve ever seen. Stranger than fiction

My daughter went to high school with him and had a few classes with him. She said this is exactly how he acted and spoke, and people were scared of him.

I love how this video talks about Zach's obsession with killers like it's a red flag.... yet here we all are: obsessed with killers as well 😂😂

My sister is Schizophrenic and she would often appear very normal for long periods when we were younger. When she was an older teen, I woke up several times to find her lurking in the darkness standing in my doorway. She was just kind of swaying, with her arms crossed, just staring right at me. I'd wake up with a start, I would ask her what she wanted, and she would ask me why I hated her. She would tell me she knew I hated her bc "they" told her I was a liar and I was making her look crazy. She said she knew II was a liar and that I wanted her gone. She did this now and then and I wasn't very afraid at first.. I didn't know she was sick at first, so I would always just reassure her. I would tell her I loved her so much and I would never lie about that. I told her whoever told her that I was mad or hated her were the liars and they knew it. After what I thought was one of our best Christmases together, I bought her a very nice ring and she seemed very touched that I spent so much on her. That night, she wasn't just in the door, she was standing at the foot of my bed and speaking in a terribly scary way, just like this kid. After that, I told my parents and they put a lock on my door. I used it. She was not herself and I finally understood that then.

You can tell even the detectives are unsettled with this guy. They did an amazing job under the circumstances but they had to have been taken back by this.

The creepiest interview I’ve ever seen. The voice on this 15 year old sounds like a demon. The way he stares right back at the detective, really unnerving. The horror this poor mother went through, sends chills. God bless her and her other son.

The way he speaks is haunting ... 15 years old and looking and sounding like that is beyond my mind

It’s like a violent, old man, trapped inside a 15 year olds body. So frigging creeping. The point where he said he was laughing when killing his mother gave me chills.

I know he killed his mom, but y’all didn’t have to put that part in about how there’s “no evidence” that he was sexually assaulted by a family member. Of course there’s not! Do you expect a little kid to go to the police and ask for a r@pe kit? I went through the same thing, so maybe I’m biased here, but trust me…it’s the least fantastical part of this interview and we really didn’t need the whole “he SAID he was r@ped, but he doesn’t have proof” that you essentially said. Especially since his mom never believed him and there is so much shame involved with being a victim. He stopped bathing because of it for f’s sake. I know you’re trying to avoid a lawsuit, but there wasn’t anyone named as the perpetrator anyway. So who’s gonna sue and give themselves away like that? Come on.

As someone with tinnitus I thank-use for taking the time to make subtitles. Auto generated ones are way off and leave me very confused sometimes. Your subtitles are clear and cordial and I really appreciate it.

I remember Dr. Phil interviewed this man in the recent years as an adult. He is just as calm, slow paced and unapologetic about what he did. He even smiled reminiscing about his own mother's murder. Not a glimpse of remorse.
He's truly a terrifying person.

a guy i was friends with in school was quite open about his schizophrenia, so i once asked him what it was like to hear voices. he said that the first time he read a book he heard a voice behind him whispering that she was thirsty. it scared the shit out of him he said. This stuff is scary as hell, and dealing with it for years without treatment, must have been torture.
