I'm a EE. I used to tinker around with microcontrollers to make things that helped around the house. Letting me know when the laundry is done, being able to turn off the light without having to get out of bed. But it's been like 10 years. When I saw the kid geared packs I was one of the people that thought it would be cool if there was one for older people. Can't wait to try it

6:45 "A backyard engineering competition." I don't know if this is a wonderful thing or a terrible thing, but it makes me smile.

The way you've packaged hack pack is really nice. I've been doing this stuff two decades. That has to be one of the most interesting and supported kits out there. I like how you push the make it your own so kids can learn to adapt and make their own solutions.

Whenever Mark does a video with these guys he always seems like the much more responsible older brother.

LOVED the idea of getting a series of engineers to attempt to fix a problem. Please do this again!

Mark is literally making ‘toys and action figures’ from his monthly ‘movie’ when you think about it. He makes something that replicates the videos his viewers watch, and offers the ability to have a piece of the video for your own. By buying a kit that demonstrates an lets you learn something new hands on. Genius. New Star Wars movie gets new Lego’s, new Mark Rober video gets new educational toy.

Bro having Kevin, William, and Allen in this shoots it immediately to the top of my "coolest videos ever" list. The chemistry between them and Mark is infectious.

I like that William's solution ended up mimicking the method used by the professionals shown at the start; great minds think alike!

My dad used to build Heathkit projects when I was a kid, such as clock radios and other things. I think this is a great idea, and it gave me a bit of nostalgia to boot. Cheers!
