What crazy is this guy doesn't sound like a pyscho like some other killers. He seems rational in his thinking which is almost scarier.

"...is allowed a few more weeks on Earth."
That's a hell of a way to phrase it.

"Hey, I'm her father, and that's not a kind way to speak about my daughter" I was like wait a minute!!!

this dude seems like a type of guy to buy pizza for the party, tell you about the weekend he has had, murder a person and then continue talking to you about the weekend

That's a dark path to walk through... RIP to his sister, she didn't deserve to die like that

he is literally the living quote of "it doesn't take a killer to murder, it only takes a reason to kill."

"I took her to Toys "R" Us, where a kid can be a kid." He's a little confused, but he got the spirit.

It's also important to remember that there was a war on drugs in this country at that time. The police were not terribly interested in investigating murders of anyone involved with drugs.

i like how he got revenge for his sister and was protective of his family, but then freely threatened to murder innocent families. he's no noble hitman like a lots of the comments below seem to think, he's just a violent hypocrite full of self justification.

I was expecting this guy to be super sophisticated and good at covering his tracks but he seems to have tragically just gotten lucky for a lot of these killings. Police found bodies in the bed of his truck and had a cigarette butt that they just neglected to test for years before he was caught.

The entire story reminds me of Mike Ehrmantraut from Breaking Bad. He got into the hitman business because of revenge for his son (family member) and he got caught because someone talked while he visited his granddaughter.

As someone born and raised in Fresno and having worked in Tulare extensively I can say it doesn’t surprise me that we generate such prominent criminal talent.

The polygraph is a mind game. Even John Augustus Larson and William Moulton Mardton denied its effectiveness as a "lie detector".

Fern is one of the best documentary channels out there. He breaks down every part nicely. Most documentary channels upload once or twice a year but fern uploads quickly huge respect to him

I used to work with a guy who clacked his teeth together when he spoke, it's a really unnerving trait and this guy does it a ton.

When you talked about that dude who insulted his daughter, i legit believed that he just sat the guy down and had a calm chat with him lmfao. He really does come off as a nice guy.

"If I hadn't done the job, someone else would have" is an interesting statement that somewhat changed my entire perspective on all this. Makes you realize that the people couldn't have been saved even if they got 100 hitmen off the streets.

I think the only reason he admitted it was because if he didnt then the police wouldve charged his son in law instead. So he made sure there would be zero question who killed the guy.
