I had forgotten what it's like to hear emotionally stable intelligent people talking honestly about how to make the world a better place. I learned more about the world in the last hour than in ten years of following American news media.

I'm not on the same of the political spectrum as Rory Stewart, I'm not a conservative, more Labour. Having said that, I have a lot of respect for him. It was a great podcast, lots of insight, and Rory is great at looking at history. And John was a great host. Thank you.

As an avid listener of both the weekly show and the rest is politics this crossover is one I am incredibly excited about.

Giving aid (grants) directly and unconditionally, like Rory was suggesting, really does make a huge difference to many more lives than you would imagine. I've witnessed entire communities that are inspired to be self sustaining which lasts for generations. Great discusion from the Stewart brothers! Thankyou.

Oh how lovely. Rory is the only conservative I have ever paid attention to.Now, I know why. He is a humanist like Jon. This discussion wore me out. The covered it all. All I can say is the world needs more leaders like these two thoughtful and caring Stewarts.

I wish the world had more leaders like Rory and Jon. Intelligent, listening and accepting that solutions are often more complex.

As a EU citizen, I also hope for the UK to come back.
