telling a doctor "I actually read and study" is diabolical.

I hate this format of debating. Most of the guests are looking for a "got you" moment instead of learning and having an open mind

It's hard to win an argument with a smart person, but it's damn near impossible to win an argument with an idiot.

It was the worst debate I've seen in my life. Mike was ready to provide information, the rest weren't ready to receive it.

"I actually read and study" - So the DOCTOR doesn't read or study and hasn't done so for his entire life or what? Doctor Mike, you're a saint please don't ever change.

I got a vaccine and immediately… five years later, I got in a car wreck!

"I actually read and study" "nothing you can say would change my mind"
Those two statements contradict each other. Studying is about adding to your knowledge base. When you refuse to change your mind, it's not about what's true, it's about your ideology.

I was one of the very few people in history who unfortunately had major adverse effects from a vaccine when I was younger and it was mainly due to it mixing poorly with a medication I was on at the time. The experience almost killed me. I've gotten every other vaccine after that with no issues and still continue to get necessary vaccines today. As someone who literally almost died because of a vaccine, I am telling people that vaccines save lives. With so much information so readily available at people's fingertips, I will never understand anti-vaxxers.

Aren't autism numbers going up because people are getting diagnosed now, rather than labeled "insane", "crazy" or "problematic" etc?

they barely let you, a professional, speak. i've seen children have better debates than what we just watched.

"In Japan autism is almost nonexistent" hikikomori subculture has something to say to that.

They shouldn't be permitted to raise their flags until the expert has spoken for at least five minutes. Allowing panelists to speak for ten minutes and then cutting off the expert just thirty seconds into their response is absurd.

We need better public education in this country so badly.

How Dr Mike stayed calm and respectful during that debate while those 17 people he debated with were really rude is beyond me

Your patience is BEAUTIFUL. I'm amazed by the stupidity of these people and how gracefully you spoke to them. Something I could NEVER do.

I watched the jubilee video. The entire comments section agreed that the contestants were "voting out their representative" while Dr Mike was talking. He never got to make his point. The formatting was broke af

When that lady says: I read and study, what she means to say is; I read and study things that agree with and justify what I already believe.
