As a CA native and as someone who has lived in CA for 75 years let me make it clear Newsom has always been a self absorbed pompous mule. All he does is seek an audience to listen to his deranged narcissistic personality disorder. The primary problem with Newsom is he simply doesn't produce anything of value for the legal citizens of CA. And face it he is either extremely corrupted or just plain ignorant (probably both). He hasn't done anything sensible to end homelessness when simple laws have been in place for decades to prevent it and sort it out. He is an imbecile regarding crime, public safety, or the administration of justice yet he mandated the closing of 4 CA State prisons and has promoted two major soft on crime bills. He also shows no sense with how this also correlates with homelessness. Has he done anything significant about the CA's electric grid? No, CA's dire need for water storage? No. Newsom touts policies for clean air yet does very little to prevent millions of acres of CA land from going up in smoke to the atmosphere. Newsom along with the CA democrat majority legislature are a daily train wreck to put it mildly.

Californian here. My PG&E bill has a $10 fee for "electric public purpose programs". In short this is wealth redistribution, aka Communism. I pay for low income homes to have electricity.
