Okay, here our my theory’s or someone else’s theory’s Rumor 1: We know that their was a fifth child in the real story, but only four in the game, this COULD mean that the deer (Wendigo) could’ve ate the fifth children, but saving the four for later, 2 years ago Mr. Ballen made a video about a man who would kidnap women and play a deadly game, so in the game (Survive “99” nights) the deer also known as the Wendigo is the man who hunts down the children, so the kids must split up and build their own shelters and be protected by wolves or bears until help arrives. Rumor 2 (not my theory): the Wendigo could’ve been a Experimental (the fifth child) that was experimented by the Cultist Adding on to rumor 2: my theory for the cultist is that in the game the kids crash into a tribes island so they lock the kids up until the help has been terminated These aren’t really real theory’s they kinda just connect

Hey Preston! I watched a documentary about the missing kids and apparently the mom died but the children survived and there was also another dog that protected them for a few nights.

When was playing 99 nights in the forest with my friend, we started talking about if we were trapped in the forest with our 2 other friends, there would be no leaders, so I would be the one that would get all the resources and craft everything, my best friend would be the medic in case any of us get hurt, she would also help us with stuff if we’re scared, for example if I was scared she would come and snuggle with me to make me feel better, my friend that I was talking to when we were playing 99 nights in the forest would be the planner, he would say if we should eat something or not, and my final friend would be the hunter, he is the strongest in the group, and if one of us got hurt he would bring us back to the fire.

Actually sometimes in the beginning of the game, we see the deer dragging a wolf with the caption "Somwhere in the forest." So it is hunting for not only us

16:50 so the deer actually does attack the the other animals because when in the game it shows you cut scenes and some of the first ones can be the dear dragging a dead wolf of bear

But I kinda also feel like the deer loves you but is mad at you and he wants a hug and that is why he reaches out to you at the end...

16:34 the deer attacks a bear and a wolf at the beginning of the game in a cut seen. 17:38 the cultist were the scientists working on the deer and the deer became a wendigo and it was attacking the scientists who started worshipping the wendigo/deer so they won’t get attacked.

Preston, it’s just that the deer isn’t the mother. The dealer was a normal child with the coldest Experiment on the kid, and then they turned him in the window creature, put the book free. He just wanted to be like the normal kids. He just didn’t know it’s in love.

Or the fith child is the wendigo which was experimented on that's why in the game there is a broken cage in a lab!?!? Also probs locking the other children (the supposed siblings of the wendigo)to keep them safe coz they wanna protect them from other humans or cultists!
