The reason why the warden got angry at Preston is repairing the iron golem. Repairing iron golems makes noise and if there's enough of it, the warden will completely ignore the iron golem and go after the player.

I appreciate the use of golden sun music as much as him saving the doggo

The first one is quite simple, the hitboxes of each block are different, getting progressively smaller (in regards to the 2nd one), making a really tall staircase
