Awful. These poor people. Truly horrific and heartbreaking.
This is a dystopian nightmare.
This is what happens when corruption takes over.

Itās really sad to live in a place where your own people will turn on you.
Haiti has been plagued for a very long time. It has been punished by hurricanes but somehow people push through.

It's easy to understand why they would think a boat to anywhere else would be a better option.

My dad visited on a missionary trip in the 80ās. They built a church out in the country. No running water. Had to bathe in the river. I remember they wouldnāt let him donate blood either for years.

this is so heart wrenching, I'm American born but i was able to live in Haiti for one year in the 90's like many other children who would spend the summer etc. I was happy to experience my Parents country and tap into my culture but this is not the Haiti i knew. I Pray night and day for the people stuck in this misery. Ayiti Cherie. Also let me clarify this is not the whole country but it's still heartbreaking.
