Thank you for focusing on the solutions in this video. I initially clicked on it to hate-watch it, but now I’m going to look up tutoring opportunities in my area. I want to be part of the change we need.

I was a loser in my 20s living with my mom, so I decided to do something about it. I joined the Army and did 6 years in cyber security. I got out with bad joints and sleeping problems and I can't find a single job. Now I'm back living with my mom as a loser in my 30s

ill be honest im 30 years old and live in my moms house. shes 85. and i have a 65 year old mentally handicap sister. i take care of them and i still work a full time job and pay all the bills. i moved back home to help out when my father was in his last years. after he passed it was plainly obvious my mother wasnt in great shape either. i dont pay rent but i do pay 900$ a month in oil heating 6 months per year. electricity, satellite tv, internet, home phone, cell phone x2, property taxes, 1000$ in groceries every month and i cook and clean and do all the yard work, landscaping, plumbing, electrician. ive self taught myself how to do ALOT of things to maintain this house and give her the vacation she deserves. My parents adopted me and all my siblings hence the age gap. but im the only one who was willing to come back and do for them what they did for me. people judge me and then they feel like POS when they hear my story. Its not easy, and it gets lonely. keeping a girlfriend isnt easy when i put my family first. but i will die without regrets.
Edit: Thank you all for the kind words! Good people still exist in the world! Im wishing for all the best for all of you!

I was a loser living with my parents... Now I don't live anymore with my parents because they died of cancer and I'm still a loser.

When my brother was in middle school (early 2000s) he had various workshops at school including carpentry, mechanics and electricity. All boys loved that stuff. They were all naturally interested, nobody had to pressure them to participate. Now those classes dont exist anymore.

I just want to give a shout-out to all of the boomer/gen-x parents who have seen their adult children struggling and instead of shaming them have opened their arms and provided them the home and support they need. I know this isn't the case for everyone, but for those of us lucky enough to have that older support network, make sure they know how much you appreciate them!

What a coincidence posting these two videos at exactly the same time, I promise it wasn't coordinated!
I think your one is better focused on this issue though so I will switch my thumbnail to something slightly different :)

I clicked on a video about men falling behind, and the first frame was a dude at a computer with pizza next to him. I'm eating leftover pizza at my desk while I work. Was that a personal attack??

Society didn't deserve me at my best and has no right to shame me when I'm at my worst.

Living at home with parents has only been a problem in the Western world, it is perfectly normal and accepted in other cultures globally.

Im a Software Engineer in germany and I have less Economical strength than my parents that just did a trivial factory job.
The most relevant cost is housing and that is rug pulling me. The german state fully failed to protect germans

Even when trying to discuss this problem you still manage to condescend men. It's getting old

I'm a 31-year-old Civil Engineer who owns my house, and my father lives with me. I have conventional success, but I'm actually starting to envy my friends at home in California who stayed with their parents. I thought I would have a wife and kids by now, but all I did was end up isolated and still single. Meanwhile, I'm still being pressured by family and colleagues to pursue additional responsibilities and licensure, on my own time outside of work, which I have zero desire for now, especially if my long-term outlook is to still be single. Now I'm also dealing with an autoimmune disease. I hate my life.

You have missed major points:
1. Society keep blaming men for men's problems yet they don't see that media keep saying "we don't need men, men are useless" etc. That should be the first thing.
2. Jordan Peterson, before he went crazy, was a great communicator and explained perfectly about men.
3. Jobs that are predominately lean towards women RARELY have programs that aimed for men. For example, we see Women in STEM but not Men in Nursing.

one of the other issues is when we talk about the "broken men" demographic there's no support offered or given. when my sister was in 10th grade she had a mental health crisis, the school sat down with her gave her a list of resources she could use to get help, offered her counseling and did anything they could to help her. 2 years later when I was in 10th grade suffering the same issues the school pulled me out of class in the middle of the day, asked me if i was okay and when I said no they sent me home. When my sisters were struggling to pick a path in life the schools and our relatives gave them all kinds of advice, when I was struggling to pick a path I was told i was running out of time to make up my mind cause graduation was only 2 years away. The systems in place put a huge emphasis on helping women which is great but the flipside is the systems forgot men also need help in similar situations. I'm glad my sisters are doing well but I get left wondering why did we all suffer similar issues yet they got 1 million helping hands while I got a pat on the back and a quick Goodluck.
