Bolytip’s story is the epitome of “You either die a hero, or live long enough to become the villain.”

Spoiler Alert!
Seeing Bolytip go is actually sad. Like they survived for so long that they are now unrecognizable from the start. Just imagine when Bolytip went to the afterlife and found Noxixo, Pinemyn, Famija, Daroly, Xugenov, Siwyl, and others, and they told them that they are Bolytip, but then the other jelly species will say that they are lying cause they don’t look like a typical Bolytip at all.
And I am glad that there is a part 3 :D
Current Eras:
Gen 0-3: Primordial Era
Gen 4-32: Noxixian Era
Gen 33-145: Bolytipian Era
Gen 146 Onwards: Vyrokian/Nyhukimish Era
And still yet no one has beaten the worst fitness set by Ceduma.

the names really add so much to it, especially with them being so odd and alien. bolytip is a name I might never forget..

Woohoo evolution simulators are why I subscribed! I love that the graph includes the “non-significant” ancestors, that’s definitely a good call

I really liked this video! seeing the Bolytip population, then seeing it die out was so sad. But we have Vyroky and Nyhukim, aka The Risk taker Bolytip and Vyroky but it's Pink and hates taking risks. Also you working with Deckard (the polyomino guy) is awesome! I really like both of the channels working on this series (the og evolution simulator is still good (in my opinion)) can't wait for Part 3!

Anyone else feel like Famija's J should have been pronounced like a Y? makes it way smoother and matches many european languages including Slavic languages
Also another cool thing to add is "population of species + descendants" instead of just the main species. so ie. we can see when Noxixo's lineage went extinct

Love this series! I have a suggestion for the population chart:
if you put new species on top of their parents instead of at the top of the entire chart, you would be able to highlight entire lineages because all descendents would be together in the chart. That way, you could eg visualize the rise and fall of noxixo and all it's descendents nicely in the chart

I've gotta say, this feels like your most "robust" evolution simulator yet, especially when it comes to user-friendliness. I especially like the added potential for descendant species so that the stacked area chart is much more varied compared to the older ones, so even if a single "lineage" like Noxixo takes over, the individual species in there means it's still possible to have some actual biodiversity. I have no idea how hard it would be to program, but it makes me curious how the older node-based simulator would look with all these features.

What would be cool is if 2 species could combine into 1 new one that has traits from both species, maybe do so at a very very low chance with randomness included?

Theory: the inconsequential nature of top mutations is exactly why they're so common. Other big mutations are more important, so they have a higher chance of being hurtful, and not having offspring

Like10 minutes after the release of the last video, I knew bolytip comeback was real. 481 is insane.
And the Vyroky takeover is just another bolytip success. Vyroki is just a decendant of bolytip.
