I've recently also thought about persistant progression difficulty problem. And I think you can't have flat buffs that makes you stronger or more resilient. But instead either unlocks more content to explore in the game, or gives you more customization options, or maybe gives you options so start the game with different weaponds for example

3:00 that came out of nowhere and I love it xD Dude that's a super cool effect with the stalagmites/stalactites parallaxed behind and in front of the player! The text with the inventory looks really nice, and the new props to the environment definitely add to the ambience. And I've honestly never heard of rogue lite, only like, so thanks for explaining that :D Will be interesting to see what you come up with for it. Great progress! And uh, I hope you can work things out with Andrew and Tony 👀
