Big NO. Budapest is a big curse to Ukraine.

Last time Ukraine gave up Crimea, Putin came back for more. If Ukraine gives up more territory Putin will come back for more.

Keep in mind: Trump is a Gangster. Never trust a gangster. He'll sell you out at the drop of a hat, or not even that.

Certainly not Budapest or Moscow - not safe for Zelenskyy. It would be a pointless meeting anyway since it would only involve demands for Zelenskyy to agree to those of Putin - and his lapdog, Trump, which are definitely not acceptable. Stay strong Ukraine - I have no doubt you will triumph over Russia. All I have is a voice and donations when I can afford them - or when I can't 😁. At 75 I wouldn't hesitate to fight for Ukraine but wouldn't be an asset unfortunately ☹️. Thank you so much, as always, Denys for your wonderful up-to-date reporting and steadfast support of Ukraine. Can’t imagine Zelensky agreeing to Orban being involved. The EU probably wouldn’t agree either.

Trump suggesting Budapest tells you all you need to know. I would suggest The Hague.

Zelensky should insist to meet in Geneva, Switzerland instead Budapest.

A country and its people are not “buffers”.

These meetings are a waste of time. You cannot deal with putin/russia. They will break any deal just as they have done for the last century. They must be forced out of Ukraine. Russia is about to implode and the EU just needs to stand squarely behind Ukraine.
