Yes, COD exists on the DS of all things. It's better than you think though.

man looking at old games like this, running on a literal potato by today's standards, and then looking at modern AAA games with their absurd requirements even on minimum, and still requiring tech like Frame Gen or DLSS to be playable is heartbreaking
Limitations really do foster creativity...

Couple of notes about this video, the game is 64MB, so a 16th of a gig, not half. The online multiplayer on official servers is dead but you can still play with friends on alternative servers like wiimmfi. There's also local multiplayer (playing zombies with a friend irl was so fun). All in all it was a really good game back when it was released. Def not as good as a console/pc cod but for the platform it was on, it's possibly one of the best the ds library has to offer. Thanks for making a video about it, it's good to see someone give that game attention and not just treat it as a joke or footnote

2:31 some emulators have an upscaling feature which makes it look way crisper than it was originally. PPSSPP has this feature and makes PSP games look almost as good as PS2 games.

1:35 Treyarch didn't work on the DS version of the game. It was done by n-Space, who did the previous Call of Duty DS games as well. In general, these kind of lesser versions or ports are usually off-sourced to a different smaller team, not the head studio.

The very first Call of Duty from 2003 will always be my favorite cause it didn't have regenerative health or the strict two weapon limit and you could select and equip a grenade like in any other FPS game like Quake 2 or Half-Life that came before. It also got an expansion pack that was pretty decent, back when expansion packs were still relevant.
I still have the DS versions of COD, and a still working DS although I haven't played them in since I was a teen.

I actually got this for my 10th birthday, the cartdrige slot was damaged, so, to play it, i had to use tape, but GOODNESS GRACIOUS, that was actually my introduction to Call of Duty, and that as in 2019!
I actually have the "Collector" achievement, which, yeah, its pretty rad!

There was also a Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare DS game which is what I played. I didn’t know there were other call of duty games on the DS. It’s kind of crazy.

This was my first COD game, I remember putting 2000 hours in this and unlocking everything in multiplayer, got to round 89 in zombies before the game crashed, and found the snowman with a crossbow easter egg. Black Ops for the DS is such a weird technological marvel and oddly charming game, Great childhood memories.

One note about BO1 DS:
The game features several weapons that weren't present in the original (i.e. the MAT-49)

Interestingly, the helicopter missions really look like the helicopter part of the vietnam mission in black ops cold war :D

I remember playing this game years ago on my friend's DS. I don't know why, but it was running surprisingly smooth.

The first time I ever played CoD was Modern Warfare 3: Defiance on the DS. I played the heck out of it and loved both the campaign and multiplayer. I miss those days...

You can tell that In 2010 and first ages of cod the ganes good and solid and you’re being for this. The games are really fun in general and the story mode Kind of did make sense but I general when Call of Duty® vanguard got released. I remember I had días, and I thought there’s no way that Call of Duty® will be on it. And to be honest, I think I enjoyed more D10 titles compared to vanguard and the new titles of Call of Duty®. Because I feel like they’re authentic in. They’re pretty decent. They’re pretty good.🔥
