The fact that the laser module has a visible spool-down period when you turn the laser off is terrifying

Fascinating, but I nearly had an anxiety attack when he cut to the cameras view of the laser. My brain immediately decided I was now blind! Learned a lot from this charismatic chap.

Man i love how you have a secret global community of sketchy people getting you monstrous laser diodes, its like the science mafia.

The reflections this thing makes and the POV shot of getting blasted with it is downright terrifying.
PSA everyone: If it doesn't scare you, don't work with lasers.

My stepdad bought one of these laser pens in green. For some reason, despite being a 5mw laser, the beam is visible outdoors at night and shining it on a white wall makes a bright enough dot to be immediately painful and leave an afterimage for a minute.
Those must be some REALLY big milliwatts, for only 5 of them to be so bright.

Styropyro feels like someone who would lose some body parts due to his insanity, and then come back as a cyborg

watching the radiometer spin that fast was actually the one thing so far in the video that legitimately made me fear this device

Styropyro: “microwave ovens are super dangerous so be careful”
Also styropyro 2 mins later: slapping internals with barehands and hitting it with a machete

I swear, this guy is living the life of a Star Wars mechanic. I mean, getting some shady parts and dismantling machines for a sci-fi core, thats so cool

I absolutely love this channel. It is amazingly entertaining to think about how extremely intelligent you have to be in order to do the insanely stupid things that you do and be safe as well. lol
