You resolved my failed update errors by pointing out that the AC power cord needs to be plugged in when the status message is displayed on the powerstation. Kudos

Thanks for the video! Here are a few issues I was encountering and how to overcome them. Make sure you install the correct assistance application don’t use the power station assistant. In order to install the assistant on a Mac running sequoia, you should get an error telling you that the software might have malware and can’t install it. Just click the done button and then go into the privacy insecurities tab under general settings. Once there, scroll to the bottom and click on the open anyway button that is associated with the package you were trying to install. Read the instructions and notice that you’ll need to type in your password (and push enter) into the terminal box that will auto launch. Then you can go find the application and open it. You don’t have to log into your account for it to work. At first, the application didn’t look like it was connecting, but eventually that icon for the power 1000 did pop up. It’s important that you plug in the power when it asks for it on the screen, otherwise It will time out and give you an error and you’ll have to open the assistant again and click the refresh button on the latest firmware then it will go through the whole process again.

DJI Assistant must be the DJI Assistant 2 (Power Series) V. 2.0.3 from 2025-05-07 (not the one for Consumer Drones or any other version). There is an even newer FW update for the Power 1000 from July 2025.
