Working as an investment banker for over a decade, the $10mil+ clients I would meet with, never shared their wealth. They wore cheap clothes and drove Hondas. Only on paper could you see how much they actually had! Stay humble if you get rich

Had a recent windfall of about 1 million dollars. I was so excited to tell someone. But at recent family event all I could hear was how hard everyone was working. Paycheck to paycheck. Struggling financially.
They knew I had recently retired. Knew I was a big saver and did some investing. They started probing me on how much I had saved for retirement. How my investments had been doing. Even got a comment from 'that uncle'. Saying "I bet you got more money than you need". I shut up and said 'you know, enough'.
Keep your personal finances to yourself.

I'm retired at 57, went from Grace to Grace. This video here reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to good home, honest wife and 35k biweekly and a good daughter full of love❤️

Someone once told me an interesting thing: Money "runs away" from the noise. Then I realised that real rich people hate to make noise. And this is because it makes them vulnerable to every kind of scam. Good video btw 👍🏻🙂

I am already wealthy. Oh, I don't have any great amount of money, but my house is paid for, I have no debt, I have a bit more retirement income than my expenses and wants, and some money salted away for emergencies. Additionally I am healthy and unusually fit for my age, and I don't have to do anything I don't want to do. Some kinds of wealth can't be measured in dollars.

Came back from working in the oil fields and the problem I had was from my poor relatives asking for money. If I said no, they would throw a fit and call me names. Been 15yrs now and haven’t spoken to any of them. Money can destroy a family

Let everyone think you're middle-class at the most, but invest aggressively and live frugally. When you're a multimillionaire, still act like you're middle-class, but enjoy vacations, and early retirement.

When I worked in a kindergarten in Beijing, there was a very nice and happy cleaning lady, cleaning floors and toilets. One day I saw her husband arriving to get her with a car that cost at leat 200 thousand US dollars. And her salary was about 300 us dollars per month! You can imagine my shock! I asked a colleague what is going on, she said the the woman and husband were peasants who suddenly got very rich from selling their land for construction building. But the woman enjoyed working with children so she continued despite the riches. But I couldn't fathom it until I saw this video, very useful info!

Expect to lose friends and family who just don't like seeing someone else be fortunate or successful. It's unavoidable, sadly.

The worst part about this is, if you lose your money and become poor again, they still think you're rich. Or they'll mock your failure.
