Its wild how he's so scared that the cops are gonna hurt him when they arrest him yet he just tortured the life out of a homeless man in the woods. Smh

The level of “nope” that is following a stranger into a dark forest alone to see a dead body is nope levels I thought unreachable.

That is beyond creepy... by yourself at night in the forest with a battered body, spooky sounds and the perpetrator out there - that's a great big nope.

props to that first cop, such bravery to go that far in the woods into potential harm’s way by himself. really shows how much bravery and knowledge he has on the profession to be able to get a read on the homeless man that he was following.

Comment section being mixed about the cop going alone vs cop having balls of steel. Let's be 100% real here, whether this situation played out differently or as it did like this. I would rather have a cop actually responding and looking into the scene then one waiting and risking losing a suspect or evidence. Just like in film or the kitchen industry, every second counts. This is the cop you want if your kid goes missing.

The Sheriff's office failed this poor man.
If anyone else had a person assault them with a machete - with witnesses and evidence - that would have been arrested immediately.
This brazen assault was so disheartening that a homeless man ACTUALLY CALLED THE LAW (which almost never happens) and they give the perp a mere warning.
Homeless people are still people. They deserved more due-diligence from the law.

The fact that someone can turn a whole forest into their personal torture chamber is beyond terrifying. Makes you wonder how many other places like this are still undiscovered… absolute nightmare fuel. 😳

The fact the cops were already called on the guy just earlier about threatening a guy with a hatchet and the solution the police gave was “just stay away from him” is sad. Homeless people are treated as second class citizens by police all the time, if they took the first call seriously maybe this man wouldn’t have lost his life

The beginning footage is like a horror video game nightmare. That’s absolutely unsettling

I've been watching cop videos for 10 years. I have NEVER seen a cop follow a potential killer 50 yards into the dark woods alone to a murder scene. They don't even go into a house they think is empty, alone.... Good scents of reading people on the spot, trusting instincts, confidence, and bravery! This all comes from someone who doesn't often find a reason to compliment cops. Well done officer Azure!

Cop talks about the guy being burned to remove evidence. Narrator:
"Detectives are left with a burning question."

This poor man was struggling enough with being homeless and having nothing to call his own. Then here comes this monster turning his last hours on this earth into hell. It's heartbreaking 💔 I hope he's somewhere now where he will never have to suffer again 🙏🏼 RIP James 🕊
